Behind the scenes, we’ve also been reducing our energy consumption year on year. Electricity usage is down over the last three years, with further improvements expected as we invest in self-generated renewable energy solutions. We’ve also seen consistent reductions in our gas, diesel, and water usage across the business.
Our creative and sourcing teams have been hard at work too—transforming how our packaging is produced. Over the last 18 months, we’ve moved 57% of our product lines away from single-use plastic packaging to plastic-free or low-plastic alternatives.
