Kasabian

Leicester's most famous rock band, Kasabian, formed in 1997 by vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist Serge Pizzorno and drummer Chris Edwards. Drummer Ian Matthews left the band during the recording of Kasabian's second album and was replaced by Jay Mehler. Bassist Steafan Cafferty joined the band shortly afterwards, completing their lineup. With five Number One albums, Kasabian are regarded as one of the UK's top rock bands.
