Winner of the 2022 Game Awards ‘Best Game’, Elden Ring is a firm fan favourite. Released in 2022, the action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Players control a customisable character on a journey to repair the titular Elden Ring and become the new Elden Lord. A third-person perspective, with players freely roaming its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include combat using several types of weapons and magic spells, horseback riding, and crafting. The game has won several awards, including several Game of the Year honours, and had sold more than 17.5 million copies so far.
