The Godfather

1972 crime movie, The Godfather, was nominated for eleven Academy Awards, winning three. It was directed by Francis Ford Coppola and stars Marlon Brando as Don Vito Corleone, the ageing patriarch of a New York Mafia family whose youngest son will be his successor. This movie is considered to be one of the greatest films in history.
